POETRY!

C'mon everyone.... I know you all have a secret passion for poetry..... It's ok to admit it....

I know I love poetry, so here's a thread for all our little poets out there!


here's one I wrote to start us off:

ANGEL WINGS

Now we're laying her to rest,
Throw roses on her grave.
She's the girl I love to hate,
A girl you could have saved.

Blood bemeath your finger nails,
The weapon is on your floor.
You've got nowhere left to hide,
The evidence you've caused.

No longer will I love you,
There's no reason that I should.
You drained me of my true self,
You drained me of all good.

Forgive what I'm about to do,
There's nothing more to say.
I'll take my mind and run from here,
You took my soul away.

Run away so far away,
Fell our spirits soar.
Free of all the baggage,
And the chains that were before.

You've been my angel for so long,
Now come fly away with me.
I'll be your wings and you be mine,
So together we'll be free....
